Welcome to Mansfield & Ashfield

Our Mansfield and Ashfield division, which covers more than 72 square miles of the county, stretches from Greater Nottingham in the south to the Derbyshire border in the north.

The division is split into four Neighbourhood Policing Areas – Mansfield North, Mansfield South, Ashfield North and Ashfield South.

The area, which incorporates the market towns of Hucknall, Kirkby, Sutton and Mansfield and has a population of more than 200,000, is distinguished by its mining heritage and strong community spirit.

The division also lies close to the M1, and one of the main roads between Nottingham and the north of the county, the A60, runs through the heart of Mansfield.
